SOLAR STORY: Seaford, Victoria

The backyard for this home in Seaford is the perfect space for Summer, instead of opting for a traditional swimming pool heater the family decided to put in a heat pump to heat the pool 365 days a year as needed. In order to power the heater cost effectively we installed a solar system for the entire house, providing renewable energy across the entire property usage.

The solar consumed figures outlined above show the clean energy supplies to meet as much of the daily energy consumption as possible.

Dunton Group specialise in designing and installing solar systems for maximum energy production to offset your consumption.

Annual Savings

The pre-solar annual energy bill was approximately $4,830. With solar the bill is estimated to be reduced to closer to $1,500.

Environmental Benefits

The solar system installed by the Dunton Group has enabled this property to reduce almost 8.4 tonnes of carbon dioxide.

Solar Export Earnings

At peak production times the solar system produces more energy then the household can consume. The additional energy produced will be sold back to the grid with credit expected.

Self Consumed Energy

With the installation of this solar system this property will be expected to be using at least 60% self consumed energy.

Product Features

For this solar installation we have opted to use a Fronius-Primo 8.2-1 inverter combined with 33 SunPower 3 SPR-P3-320-BLK solar panels.
